Trying the OTA update system but getting error message

Post by bugs »

With a standard ESP32 running Annex32 CAN 1.51.1 LFS.
I went to [Local Link Removed for Guests] and copied the url for 1.51.5 which is:-
[Local Link Removed for Guests]

On the config page clicked OTA button and said I was sure.
The word "Starting" appeared for a few seconds then the error message "HTTP error: connection refused"
Tried 4 different browsers with win10 Edge, Opera, Firefox and chrome.
There are no spurious characters or spaces in the url.

Anything else to try?

Have you updated the OTA at the version 1.8?

I don't know what all of those items are, or if and when they would need to be updated, so I've just been selecting them all just to be sure ... can it cause any problems by doing that ?
Is there a better recommended procedure ?
