Re: The best browser for annex developers
It depends on your needs and preferences - everyone will probably have different needs and preferences.
I try to avoid the big-brother data-miners who do not respect my privacy, the worst of which are google, microsoft, amazon, apple.
Although I was a microsoft techie most of my adult life, it became too mercenary so I dumped it several years ago for linux independence.
For similar reasons I avoid using the corporate big-brother offerings like Edge, Chrome, Opera because of the unavoidable non-privacy identity grabbing and tracking that is built-in to them and their main purpose for existing.
Those are the reasons, here are the answers:
I use Firefox for general online browsing because it is still more of an independent and less invasive browser that any of the big corporate offerings.
I use Falkon lightweight browser for all my local Annex connections.
I use Chromium just for connecting to the Annex Online Flasher, because it has the required web serial capability without the chrome nasties.
