Version 1.51.2 to test

Post by cicciocb »

I've just released the version 1.51.2.

This contains some new fixes and some new features, such as the possibility to customize the layout of the editor page as per own tastes.

The detail is below

Code: [Local Link Removed for Guests]

Version 1.51.2
- File Manager page
Fix for the 1st character lost when using "save as zip" without selecting "Full Path"
The Flash Free and The RAM free are shown with ',' separators each 3 digits
- Implemented the file selection (valid only for delete file) using any combination of CTRL and SHIFT
- VGA output (ESP32-S3 only).
Included an error message in case a wrong page is selected
    Implemented some functions VGA.GETPIXEL, VGA.RGB, VGA.COLOR
    Renamed the VGA.GUI to VGAGUI.
- Editor page
Implemented the customisation of the layout (experimental)
These keys are active keys only when clicked before inside the LOG window
        - CTRL+SHIFT+F1 - Set Vertical Layout
        - CTRL+SHIFT+F2 - Set Horizontal Layout
        - CTRL+SHIFT+F3 - Save Layout
        - CTRL+SHIFT+F4 - Load Layout
        - CTRL+SHIFT+F5 - Reset Layout
- Implented an experimental NETBIOS (use less RAM than mDNS but works only on windows)
- Fixed the command / function BAS.RTCMEM$

I was a bit confused about the editor functions at first, because I didn't really understand it yet ...
The control sequences work as soon as you position the cursor in the log window.
This is very helpful . Thanks a lot !!!

Yes, this is experimental, if found useful I'll try to simplify (advice accepted :D )

The key combinations are easy to remember - but please do not forget to update the Shortcut-list behind the ?-button .

However, since there is no real feedback, I am afraid that I tend to forget the positioning of the cursor in the LOG window especially at the beginning of my attempts.

I admit: I'm crying at a pretty high level ;-)

No rush, but any chance of a short list of any of the revised VGA.GUI to VGAGUI. syntax changes, cos some are now erroring,

How Dupont et Dupond, I would even say more: Replace with binoculars icon VGA.GUI blank space by VGAGUI dot
Congratulations, Cicciocb, so far everything is perfect. ;)

I agree with that, I thought, there's nothing going on
