Grrr... this has been preventing me from using the Annex online tools forever - but I've only just found out that it is a widely known 'thing', and not just me.
To avoid being harassed by Chrome/Chromium/Edge in linux for a non-existing password to unlock a big-bruther keyring, edit the launcher to include --password-store=basic
The screendump below shows the edited chromium desktop launcher for MX Linux.
It's not just a matter of shutting it up, it won't allow to launch otherwise, but it has become an essential for Annex.
