BAS.DEVICE returns only 0

Post by PeterN »

Hello Francesco,
I have a M5Stack ATOM LITE that should return a 101 with this code line:

Code: [Local Link Removed for Guests]

ret=BAS.DEVICE

But instead it returns a 0.
I am using Annex CAN 1.52.4 LFS on this device.
My mistake or a problem?

Probably you set the module to "Generic".

You must set the correct module in the config page

Well, you are right! Leaves me a bit astonished, as I thought I had double checked it.
Maybe I was to fast and did not do a hardreset after setting the module-type, timezone etc.
Worked well now.
Thanks and good night

Now, the ATOM correctly sets the NeoPixed data pin accordingly to the found module type

I'm now quite happy with the WordClock, now completely 3D-printed and powered by the little ATOM lite.

No - would be a nice project surely… but don’t want trouble as there still seem to be legal discussions and warnings from lawyers about patents on the front panels

Just to give you an idea of how this WordClock project has evolved in the meantime, thanks to the helpful additional input of a friend who also built this. And I don't want to forget to mention that this was only possible thanks to the fantastic evolution of ANNEX32!!!

I put some efforts in the use of the build-in I2S-Spreaker in the M5Stack ATOM Echo. Now It spkeaks the IP_Adress, time, plays correct BigBen-Bell sound at every 15 Minutes , streams some radio-stations or plays just the radio-news identified by it's mp3-metadata.

Code and of cause the wordclocks front are a bit German-held.
Would be interesting wether this 5Minutes-resolution could be done in acceptable English-wording as well.
If someone is interested ... the attached zip-file includes all the necessary files - even the BigBen-sounds as mp3

EDIT: I can provide the STL-files if of interest

Hi Francesco
A crazy idea came up when I used the ATOM Echo: It can receive an MP3-Stream already . Would be nice to be able to send an MP3-stream derived from the internal I2S-Mic too. That would give the ability to create a simple intercom between to ATOMs.

Have a nice sunny day!
