ESP-8048S070C orientation

Post by BeanieBots »

Any chance this display could support the TFT orientation configuration?
The main reason I ask is that when laying flat on the bench it is hard to see unless upside down. However, portrait/landscape option would be nice too.

Also, just an aside, any reason the ILI9481 driver is not included in the S3 firmware. There are some very nice 3.5" IPS displays at reasonable cost.
I'm fairly sure one of the other drivers works but with colour inversion, so perhaps just add an inversion command. (or just use 65536-TFT.RGB)

The VGA driver I wrote do not support the orientation.

The ILI9481 works at 18 bits, so requires some mods in the driver. This is in the Todo list.
