Two MQTT Server at the same time

Post by Schallschutz »

Hello, perhaps someone can answer the following question.

I would like to connect an MQTT server locally and write a small part of the data that I read from the local server to a second MQTT server in the cloud.

Hence my question, can I have access to two MQTT servers at the same time with Annex. One MQTT server for reading and one MQTT server for writing.

Thank you and greetings

With one module this is not possible but you can do with 2 modules.
You can exchange using a serial connection between the modules.

Additionally this will give you the benefit to completely separate the 2 networks.

Honestly, seen the prices of the ESP32 .....

Thanks for the answer. That's a good idea.

So exchange the data between the two ESP32 via null modem (RX-TX TX-RX) and connect each module to an MQTT server.

I'll try my luck that way.
