Been away awhile and lot has happened
I would like to catch up slowly so far have not managed to use the old tool kit to flash a module "Flash Not Complete error"
I may have a faulty module although I have more than one with the same error.
I would like to start with installing the toolkit from scratch with the latest version
can I have a link/
flashing with the tool kit

Re: flashing with the tool kit
The toolkit is no longer supported.
It is now done via a web based installer.

Thanks Beaniebots
I was just trying to find the later tool kit and unzip it, which I have done and press the wasp button but alas its not there
I suspect I have some modules that dont fully flash for various reasons
In the new world of your link all four module never get past connecting (I suspect it time to by some replacement hardware)

Hi,
my solution at connection problem 100% winner:
I set connection baudrate at 9600.

And some modules require to put the module manually in programming mode:

Which modules? ESP32-S2Mini for instance requires you to press and hold the "0" button while plugging it in (or press and hold it while pressing and releasing "RST").[Local Link Removed for Guests] wrote: [Local Link Removed for Guests]Sat Jan 06, 2024 8:25 pmIn the new world of your link all four module never get past connecting
Age of the module is probably not the issue--more likely the specific method needed to get into programming mode. With the ESP32-D1Mini, it just recognizes the ESP; this is true with some other modules.
