Assuming you have installed Annex but have an earlier version of the firmware, you need to copy the downloaded file into the build folder to overwrite the existing annex32.bin so that the toolkit is able to find and use the update.

One more question ..

I could successfully install. Starting win.bat the following messages occur. Can that be fixed?
Obviously my windows doesn't like the installation or is believing something illegal is going on.

Yep, my installation has shown that message with all versions of the Toolkit, but it doesn't affect operation.

I had heaps and heaps of heap_caps_malloc faults on my jirst-gen M5 Stack using 1.43.6. Impossible to continue.
Just a heads-up.
