Hi , Great Software. I use Linux Ubuntu 20.04 , seems to work ok - still testing. Flashed using Serial - OK , then Tried OTA - worked like a dream. I prefer the Linux Version as opposed to Windows as you can run it on a lower spec device if needed.

Thanks to confirm that it works for you, this is a good news.

With Ubuntu I'm quite confident as it is the version that I use for the testing / development.

Thanks very much for this. I don't have a Linux device which isn't headless, so tested only in Windows, and so far, only on ESP8266 D1 Mini.

Flashing reported success, but in the Editor, it says version 1.43.3, not .4 as I anticipated. Did it reflash successfully? (I don't remember what version I had previously flashed.)

As Electroguard suggested might be the case for some, summer has gotten in the way of Annex play: vacation, guests, gardening, hammock. Annex remains my go-to device for controlling things about the house, and I have several projects brewing: monitoring a small solar panel, monitoring battery backup of my water pump and boiler in case of electrical outage.

Wifi access for monitoring and program updating remains the make-or-break feature for me for choosing a device, basic is my preferred language, and so Annex is the winner for those capabilities. Thanks again.

The esp8266 version included is the 1.43.3, sorry for the misunderstanding
