Just a thing to be aware of . . .
I was running Annex on an ESP32-CAM but getting very poor frame rates and occasional ping dropouts and freezes.
Then I realised I was working close to the wi-fi router.
I've had this before, especially with any additional antenna; The wi-fi signal swamps the RF input of the device and prevents proper signal transmission.
I know this, but every now and then I forget
Too much of a good thing?

Similarly, RF swamping can reduce performance of radar sensors if they are within a few inches of the ESP device, moving them just a few inches further away can considerably increase their detection range and reliability.
