ESP8266 add-on antenna

Hi Gents. Just finished adding on a antenna to a ESP2866. I was quite surprised at the difference it made so I thought I would share. Vistumbler showed an improvement from 24% (stock) to 74% with added antenna.

Hi Zim, is that copper coloured part a sleeve and is it soldered to the original trace? Just trying to understand the construction or it all just a cut down coax cable?

I used a small copper tube, but trimmed down coax would work as well. (probably better) It is soldered to the original trace.
