Have you tried to press F2 in the editor?
Otherwise it is online here

F2 is working for me on 1.44.2, and the external help link, so looks like it's something to do with your system.

Hi Electroguard
It could be. My tool kit is all "piece mealed" together. Is there a complete up to date package that contains ESP8266 1.44.2?
Thanks

Re: No help file ESP8266 1.44.2
I've created a USB-bootable MX Linux with Annex Toolkit pre-installed including 1.44.2 firmware.
I'm still working on some accompanying videos, but I can post up a pre-release of the bootable MX Linux ISO sometime tomorrow if it would help ?
EDIT: The whole intention of of the Annex MX project is to offer Annex on a highly-modded version of linux which is simple even for first-time linux users to be comfortable with, so no need to be frightened of it. Will have tutorial videos showing how to do everything - most done already, but a few still to do.

Probably your project is not connected to internet; it is not possible to copy the help inside the module but you can use this offline help for annex ESP8266 1.44.2[Local Link Removed for Guests] wrote: [Local Link Removed for Guests]Wed Aug 17, 2022 10:14 pm Hi cicciocb

Re: No help file ESP8266 1.44.2
Curious, F2 does not work for me either. Tried in Firefox and Edge.
The files are there, just nothing happens when F2 is pressed.
The link works fine which I already had bookmarked along with previous versions which still work.
The help files in my 1.44.2 toolkit directory open but are not interactive.
The help files in my 1.41 beta 5 folder used to work but now give a script error.
Could this be a Windows thing? I'm still using W10.

Re: No help file ESP8266 1.44.2
Not tried with Chrome yet. (not available on this PC).
It (F2) certainly used to work with Firefox but not tried it for a long time.
It was pre ESP32 support when I last tried F2, so something has broken since then. (I believe in my PC)
I always use bookmarks in Firefox and they work fine. (1.41, 1.42, 1.43, 1.44 & 1.44.2 all OK).
It was only because of Zim's issue that I tried F2 and opening the files in the 1.43.zip download.
I recall an issue with the help files for 1.43 not opening (script error) when I first downloaded them.
I tried to change them to the latest but got the same error and gave up because my bookmarks work OK.
I suspected then, as now, that this is related to my PC and/or Windows. I'll try and post the error message popup.
I did 'Google' the error message a while back but it pointed me to a registry entry so I left it at that and moved on.
I'll try Chrome later today. Meanwhile, anything else to try?
Edit:
This is the popup if try to open the help from the folder.
